Type: Partial Paid internship for college credit
Schedule: Flexible weekday hours, with required paid weekend experience

What You’ll Do

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule social media posts using SOCi or Canva
  • Collect and organize photos and stories from weekend programs
  • Assist with email campaigns and local advertising efforts
  • Track social media engagement and report results
  • Help plan promotions for upcoming sports seasons and events
  • Research schools, youth organizations, and community partners for outreach

Sports Management Responsibilities

  • Work inside the i9 Sports Franchise Manager System to:
    • Handle player and coach requests
    • Assign team names
    • Build team rosters
    • Build age divisions
    • Send communication about coach background checks
    • Send league-wide texts or emails to families
  • Update seasonal coach documents
  • Assist with equipment, inventory, and supply management
  • Support venue preparation and basic maintenance
  • Help with operational planning leading into new seasons

  • College student majoring in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, PR, Business, or a related field
  • Creative thinker who’s reliable and organized

  • Comfortable using social media in a professional setting
  • Excited about sports, teamwork, community involvement, and helping run game-day operations

Required Paid Weekend Experience

As part of the internship, you will work one weekend day as a paid Sports Coordinator.

You’ll help with field setup, assist volunteer coaches, support families, monitor gameplay, and help ensure a great experience for kids ages 3–14. This hands-on role gives you essential operational experience and a deeper understanding of how our programs run.
