The Willow Bridge Summer Internship Program is a 9-week experience designed to provide valuable hands-on work with a national leader in the property management industry. Your summer with Willow Bridge will include:
- A 3-day orientation experience at HQ in Dallas, TX with opportunities to network and hear from senior leadership
- Weekly internship meetings consisting of professional workshops, leadership speakers, and meaningful conversations
- The opportunity to showcase your interests and learnings through a final project presentation to leadership at the conclusion of the program
The program will run from June 1 – July 31, 2026.
We're currently hiring an onsite Property Management Intern to participate in the daily operations of the onsite management office and maintenance teams. We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded person who enjoys building relationships with their team and customers. Does that sound like you? - Learn how to interact with prospects in the following areas:
- Welcoming guests in the front office and answering phone calls
- Touring the community and completing a lease application & paperwork
- Learn how to interact with residents in the following areas:
- Completing rent collections, deposits, late notices, and posting rent
- Receiving move out notices, service requests, and resident transfers
- Learn how to inspect the property in the following areas:
- Walk vacant apartment homes, make readies, and complete service requests in property management software
- Preparing the office, model home, vacant apartment homes and tour path
- Community policy violation, repairs needed, landscaping check, etc.
- Check assigned email regularly
- Check in with assigned manager and internship program directors regularly to report progress, questions, and any concerns that may arise
- Work with team to actively post on community social pages including Instagram and Facebook and incorporate responding positively to all online reviews
Qualifications:
- Interest or desire to work in property management, real estate, or sales
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and an enjoyment in meeting new people
- Skilled in basic math
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work in-person at assigned Willow Bridge Property for the duration of the program
- Ability to collaborate with team members and use available resources to effectively complete tasks
- Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs
Will be a rising Junior or Senior for a degree in a Property Management, Real Estate, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field at the time of the first day of the program
Typical base compensation range depending on experience: $21 to $22 per hour USD
