Purpose of Job:
The purpose of this job is to support all safety and security efforts for GOAL, including administering, maintaining, repairing, and monitoring of statewide security and monitoring systems and responsible for overall physical safety of all GOAL sites. The role also involves collaboration and coordination with other GOAL teams and acting as a liaison for safety relations, while proactively identifying and mitigating security risks and managing security assets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Security
- Manage security system hardware components, including badging, security cameras, and alarms
- Make recommendations to Manager for additional sensors, cameras, systems and coordinate with internal departments on implementation and installation
- Monitor camera systems and coordinate with IT personnel accordingly
- Support, install, integrate, and initialize physical security system components
- Collaborate with Manager and IT personnel for integration and operation of physical and digital security assets
- Assist in annual audit of all security related assets
- Maintain access controls into sites for staff on-boarding
- Define site access by department and position as guided by leadership
- 3rd Party access management
Safety
- Generate, manage, update, and train on emergency exit routes at all sites
- Conduct annual site safety inspections
- Identify missing emergency response equipment for each site
- Fire inspection monitoring
- Provide safety orientation and training to new employees and ongoing training for existing staff
- Responsible for basic repair and maintenance of physical safety at sites
General
- Support all GOAL safety & security efforts
- Maintain database of all site-based security & safety assets
- Collaborate with Manager on all day-to-day tasks and priority focus projects
- Support on general maintenance projects statewide as needed
- Emergency Support & Communication
- Assist with emergency response and communication efforts
- Act as primary contact for staff requiring assistance with security system issues
- Assist in monitoring for all alarm systems statewide
- Support in emergency calls from all security providers
- Support the mission and vision of GOAL High School
- All other duties as assigned

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must reside in Colorado.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Applied Technology, or a similar field preferred.
Experience:
- Three (3) years experience required in a technology application environment with experience in safety & security, systems management, physical security, and problem solving; with experience in installation, integration, maintenance, and repair of physical security assets, & detailed knowledge of information technology applications.
- Three years of experience working online and/or with at risk youth, preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electronic equipment and other building systems and components.
Or other background demonstrating application of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Advanced knowledge in physical security systems installation, integration, operation, and maintenance in a business environment.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience related to asset management & loss prevention, and detailed understanding of information technology applications.
