Fund Accountant (Entry Level)

OVERVIEW
We’re looking for an entry-level Fund Accountant to join our team and support the day-to-day accounting of investment funds. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in finance and looking to build a strong foundation in investment operations, accounting, and financial reporting.
You’ll work closely with internal teams to help ensure fund data is accurate, deadlines are met, and any issues are resolved quickly. Training is provided, and you’ll gain exposure to how investment funds operate from end to end.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the daily calculation and review of Net Asset Value (NAV) for assigned investment funds
- Process and review key accounting components such as cash activity, transactions, expenses, income, and corporate actions
- Research and resolve breaks or discrepancies by working with internal stakeholders
- Monitor daily workflows to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time
- Escalate issues when needed and follow up on outstanding items
- Maintain strong documentation and support audit requests
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
- Communicate professionally with team members to resolve questions and keep tasks on track
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- At least one internship in financial services or a related area (preferred)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to identify, analyze, and escalate issues appropriately
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
