Commercial Excellence Analyst

The Commercial Excellence Analyst will support the Commercial Organization by managing the data, tools, and processes that enable sales and marketing excellence.

 

This role will ensure the smooth operation of key commercial systems (including Salesforce.com, targeting platforms, and BI tools), maintain data integrity, and provide analytical support to the Commercial and Marketing teams.

 

The Commercial Excellence Analyst will play a key role in enabling field effectiveness, improving internal workflows, and supporting strategic commercial initiatives.

 

This role will be located in our Fort Worth, Texas office.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Data and Tools Administration

  • Maintain and administer key Commercial tools and systems (Salesforce.com, targeting tools, Power BI dashboards, etc.).
  • Support the onboarding of new commercial hires by managing access, data setup, and tool training.
  • Collaborate with IT and external partners to troubleshoot or enhance system functionalities.

 

Reporting and Analytics

  • Prepare and distribute recurring commercial and marketing performance reports.
  • Support ad-hoc analytical requests from Sales, Marketing, and Management.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to help drive commercial performance.

 

Commercial Support and Process Management

  • Serve as the first line of support for Sales and Marketing teams regarding data, tools, and reporting.
  • Document and maintain key commercial processes (CRM workflows, reporting cycles, targeting updates, etc.).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, IT) to ensure alignment on data sources, reporting standards, and process timelines.

Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with the Business Intelligence Specialist to automate reporting processes and improve visualization tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and standardization of commercial processes.
  • Stay informed on new tools, technologies, and best practices in commercial excellence and analytics.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing or related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, and/or Data/CRM support role (healthcare experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of BI tools (Power BI preferred)
  • Some knowledge of programming languages (preferably Python)
  • Experience with CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce.com)

 

Work Environment

  • Indoors, in an office environment, with temperature control
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected
  • Overnight travel may be required (roughly 10%)

Physical Demands

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
