Adult Services Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)  
Location: Lawrence, MA
Schedule: Varied hours, including some early evenings in residences; on-call rotation approximately once per month
Pay Rate: $55–$60 per hour

 

Arbor Associates’ client is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as the Assistant Director of Adult Clinical Services. This leadership role oversees adult services programming, ensuring quality clinical oversight, staff development, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings supervisory experience, familiarity with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and strong expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis to support adults with developmental and behavioral challenges.

 

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and oversight for adult residential and day services.

Supervise and train staff, ensuring consistent implementation of evidence-based behavioral supports.

Collaborate with DDS and other regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and quality standards.

Conduct functional assessments, develop and monitor Behavior Support Plans, and ensure fidelity of implementation.

Support staff with crisis management, program audits, and clinical decision-making.

Participate in program development, research initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.

Provide flexible coverage, including some evening hours and limited on-call responsibilities.

 

Job Requirements

Required: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.

Certification: Current BCBA credential.

Experience working with adult populations, including residential services and DDS collaboration.

Supervisory and program management experience required.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to mentor staff.

CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Intervention certification (or ability to obtain).
