Job Overview – REO Asset Management
LCR Management Inc are seeking a motivated intern to join our Real Estate Owned (REO) Asset Management team within the Loan Loss Mitigation department. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing foreclosed properties, understanding the post-foreclosure process, and contributing to strategies that minimize loss exposure while maximizing asset recovery.
Internship Details:
- Duration: Semester long (Fall/Spring); Ideally Fall and Spring Semester
- Location: Office location [REQUIRED], with potential for hybrid flexibility
- Compensation: 17 to 21$ per hour
- Select Benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the level and position offered
- Schedule: Full time (40 hours/week) or part-time options available
Learning Opportunities:
- Post-foreclosure property management and disposition strategies
- Real estate market analysis and valuation methodologies
- Vendor management and property preservation best practices
- Cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Servicing, and Finance teams
- Understanding of credit risk and asset recovery in financial institutions
Required Qualifications:
- Completed at least one year of college before beginning internship
- Current BS/BA student
- School and /or work experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the U. S
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS/BA student with an emphasis in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or other related skills
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Previous work experience in finance, business, real estate, or accounting related positions
- Strong analytical skills, ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
