Growth Technical Project Manager (Growth TPM)

We’re seeking Growth Technical Project Managers to propel Mercor’s growth by managing complex projects across the customer lifecycle. You will own outbound sourcing strategies, rigorous vetting of technical profiles, and funnel-level data analysis to optimize candidate quality and conversion for projects where customers use our platform to find domain experts to build datasets that train and evaluate AI models.

Key Responsibilities:

Design outbound pipelines: Lead and scale outbound sourcing campaigns to identify and engage domain experts for AI model training projects commissioned by foundational AI companies, including channel selection, sequencing, and performance tracking.

Vetting technical profiles: Oversee structured evaluation of expert profiles using Mercor’s AI interviewer signals, resumes, GitHub/academic publications, and bespoke rubrics to ensure fit against specific client requirements.

Funnel data analysis: Own funnel metrics (sourcing → response → interview → assessment → placement). Build dashboards (Sheets/Excel/BI), run A/B tests, analyze drop-offs, and implement data-driven improvements to increase conversion and time-to-fill.

Assessment strategy: Manage end-to-end assessment design to select high-quality talent, leveraging Mercor’s platform and external sources; ensure repeatable, auditable processes.

Cross-functional execution: Coordinate with internal teams and Operations to design data pipelines, perform QA, and deliver timely, high-quality project outcomes.

Expert onboarding & interface: Onboard domain experts for bespoke tasks, set expectations, and maintain alignment with client goals and success criteria.

Process and automation: Continuously analyze and enhance workflows; implement automation and operational efficiencies to scale throughput without sacrificing quality.

Qualifications:

Technical background required (e.g., computer science, data science, engineering) or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Experience in research, consulting, data science, or business with a strong analytical orientation.

Proven familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel/Google Sheets; bonus: SQL/BI) and project management software; comfort with basic scripting (e.g., Python) is a plus.

Experience vetting technical profiles and managing structured assessments; outbound recruiting or growth operations experience is highly valued.

A “nice-to-have,” but not a requirement, is a proven track record of managing client interactions and recruitment processes.
