Commercial Sales Coordinator

The hiring range for this position is $45,000 - $48,000 per year, plus commission. The salary may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related experience. In addition to the salary, there is a comprehensive benefits package.

The primary goals of the Commercial Sales Coordinator position are to support and work together with the Commercial Sales Team to drive revenue by sales, source new business leads, service the current client base, clean-up client & sales data, curate content for client needs and marketing promotional materials.

Core elements of the Position: 
Ability to integrate into a team environment but also proactive and confident enough to work independently 
Assists the Commercial Sales Team with client sales and coordination duties such as researching new business contacts, identifying clients for reengagement, cleaning up client accounts and assisting with pitch decks and client lists, closing invoices and coordinating with accounting
Creating lightboxes of imagery that aligns with client or Commercial Sales Team needs
o  Collaborate with Commercial Sales Team on strategy, marketing and industry trends
Communicate regularly with manager, team and brand directors

Responsibilities and Duties: 
o Assist in the portfolio management of client accounts, which includes finalizing commercial licensing sales
o  Assist with maintaining strong client relationships to develop client trust and define new sales opportunities
o  Support Commercial Sales Team with licensing data maintenance and clean-up 
o  Identify and target new clients using Sales platforms and tools
o  Maintain a meticulous overview of pending deals, outreach, and internal projects via our CRM platform
o  Provide detailed weekly status update on all projects to Senior Executive Director, Partnerships & Strategy, Great Bowery Licensing
o  Collaborate with other Great Bowery Licensing teams such as Editorial, Infringement, Artist Relations, Archiving, Marketing, Content Research, etc. to successfully secure imagery for clients
o  Closely work with Marketing team to create Commercial Marketing promos and lightboxes

Qualifications: 
o  Experience in Content Licensing, Artist Representation/Management, Negotiating Agreements, Photography, 
 Media, Advertising a plus
o  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o  Superior organizational skills and follow through with precise attention to detail
o  Desire to work in sales and an ability to learn quickly and adapt
o  Knowledge of image/film licensing a must
o  An ability to follow direction, as well as take a leadership role on projects
o  Extensive knowledge of media and pop culture (magazines/publishers, fashion, movies, music, blogs, etc.) 
 with an ability to forecast trends
