Marketing & Digital Media Intern

Cedarcrest – Make an Impact with Your Marketing Skills!

Are you passionate about social media, creativity, and using your digital skills to make a real impact? Cedarcrest is looking for a Marketing & Digital Media Intern to help share our story, elevate our brand, and shine a light on the incredible children, teens, and young adults we serve.

In this entry-level role, you’ll work closely with our Director of Advancement and collaborate with team members across the organization. You’ll help craft digital campaigns, support events, enhance our online presence, and create content that connects with families, partners, staff, and our greater community.

What You’ll Do

Digital Marketing & Social Media

Bring Cedarcrest’s mission to life through thoughtful and engaging communication

Follow and champion our social media guidelines

Create weekly and monthly content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and our website

Brainstorm and research ideas for fresh, original content

Design compelling graphics aligned with our brand strategy

Write clear, creative captions tailored to diverse audiences

Develop innovative strategies to increase reach and engagement

Produce weekly digital content across platforms

Support SEO goals by tracking performance and creating reports

Event & Community Engagement

Assist with marketing and promotional efforts for special events

Work alongside program staff, families, and community partners to share impactful stories

Represent Cedarcrest through coordinated public relations efforts

What You Bring

Experience managing or creating content for social media platforms

Interest in marketing, digital media, and lead generation

Basic understanding of marketing concepts, content creation, and analytics

Familiarity with CRM systems or marketing automation tools (a plus!)

Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills

Solid organizational and project management abilities

A creative mindset and willingness to think outside the box

Ability to collaborate with a supportive and mission-driven team

Basic knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics (preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong attention to detail
