Broadcast Aide
The Georgia House of Representatives will be hiring temporary full-time Broadcast Aide for the 2026 session of the General Assembly. Successful candidates will immediately begin employment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The temporary session employment, which is expected to last approximately three months, will end on the day the General Assembly adjourns sine die (which will be the first of April).
As a Broadcast Aide, you'll support the House Media Services team in live streaming/broadcasting official proceedings of the Georgia House of Representatives, video production, video file management and audio/visual support.
The Broadcast Aide is a non-partisan temporary position in the Media Services Department of the Georgia House of Representatives (“House”) that is responsible for the live streaming and video production needs of the House, including, but not limited to, broadcasting, filming, recording, live streaming and editing committee meetings, press conferences and video messages. The Broadcast Aide will also be responsible for operating sound and visual displays on the House floor during the legislative session, as well as providing A/V support in committee hearings.
Candidates should be proficient in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Zoom and OBS Studio.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School degree or equivalent.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
· Ability to perform multiple tasks accurately and efficiently under time constraints.
· Ability to work both independently and cooperatively.
· Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of maintaining confidentiality.
· Ability to perform job functions on behalf of state representatives free of favoritism and partisanship.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
Interviews for qualified candidates will take place in mid-December.
