Business Development Specialist / Appointment Setter (In-Office Boca Raton)

We are hiring an Appointment Setter (Business Development Specialist) to help support the growth of the #1 Origination Team at CrossCountry Mortgage and the #1 team in Florida from 2020 to the present, led by the country’s top loan originator, Matt Weaver. This role is ideal for someone with sales experience who wants to plug into a proven system, work in an elite environment, and focus exclusively on identifying and attracting talent without managing the full sales cycle.

In this position, you will make outbound calls to real estate agents and loan officers using our prospecting software, following our scripts and training to generate interest and schedule qualified introductory calls for our presenters. This role differs from most sales positions because your sole responsibility is opening—identifying talent, sparking interest, and setting meetings—while presenters and closers handle the remainder of the process. You will receive mentorship and coaching directly from the top origination team in Florida while working in a high-energy, supportive, and competitive office environment.

This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable on the phone, confident in starting conversations, highly coachable, driven, and eager to grow. It’s a great fit for someone seeking a career path with structure and mentorship. Compensation includes a base salary plus commissions. This is a full-time role.
