The Q 90.1 is the local Christian Radio station for Worcester County MA. Our mission is to connect people, churches, businesses, and communities together with the love of Jesus Christ. We are a small but growing non-profit that recently invested in a new broadcast antenna system that doubled our listener footprint and hired a Director of Business Operations to leverage the increased footprint into revenue growth
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our team to provide essential support in developing and implementing a new sales outreach strategy. As a Sales Intern you will have the opportunity to immediately assume a meaningful role within the organization. You will report to and interact regularly with the Director of Business Operations.
What you will be doing:
- Research and analyze the Worcester County Business Market. Make recommendations on potential client markets and work with the Director of Business operations to develop a sales strategy and outreach plan
- Work with Dir of Business operations to implement sales strategy. Conduct initial outreach via email and phone campaigns and assist the Director in follow up and sales calls.
- Review and analyze current email communication plans for business and church partners. Working with The Dir of Business operations develop and implement a plan to improve frequency and content messaging to better serve current constituent groups and help grow revenue
- Review current CRM content and make recommendations for improved record keeping and reporting
- Engage with station "Street Team” to help improve volunteer recruitment and retention through better communication. Assist team in scheduling and attending appropriate events with partners.
