Introduction

The Minneapolis VA Center for Care Delivery and Outcomes Research (CCDOR) is a VA Health Services Research (HSR) Center of Innovation (COIN) operating under the direction of the Office of Research and Development (ORD) as an interdisciplinary community of professionals conducting methodologically rigorous research intended primarily to improve the health care of Veterans. CCDOR has 36 core investigators, 8 affiliate investigators, 20 core support staff and 38 full-time project staff.  www.ccdor.research.va.gov

Position Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will work alongside other project team members to offer statistical support in the design, analysis, and reporting of results for outcomes and health services research studies, including clinical trials, survey research, and analysis of administrative data. The candidate will also be expected to work independently or collaboratively with other statisticians on project teams, contributing to a diverse range of projects at various stages. Additionally, the candidate will be part of the CCDOR statistics, informatics, and data management core.

Minimum Qualifications

· A Master’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, data science or related field.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Knowledge or experience using R, SAS, STATA.

· Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

· At least 1 year of relevant work experience including data analysis, statistical software experience and reporting of results. 

· Experience working on multiple projects with varying timelines and completion deadlines.

· Additional programming languages such as SQL, Python.

· Experience in research and healthcare/EHR data. 

Compensation             

Full time GS-11 level position starting at $80,609 (plus benefits).
