Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Polymer Chemist, Organic Chemist, or Postdoctoral Researcher to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in polymer chemistry, organic synthesis, or related fields and a strong background in laboratory research. The role involves conducting experimental research, synthesizing new materials, and characterizing their properties for a variety of applications, such as in materials science, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research & Development: Design and execute experiments to synthesize new polymers, organic compounds, or materials. Investigate structure-property relationships and optimize synthetic processes.
  • Laboratory Work: Conduct synthetic chemistry reactions, polymerization, and purification of compounds using standard laboratory techniques and modern analytical tools.
  • Characterization: Use various techniques to characterize materials, such as NMR,  GPC, DSC, TGA, UV-Vis, HPLC, and other relevant methods. Analyze data to determine the molecular structure, thermal, mechanical, and other properties of materials.
  • Literature Review: Stay up to date with the latest scientific literature in the fields of polymer chemistry, organic chemistry, or related areas to inform experimental design and innovation.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations. Ensure that all data is properly documented and interpreted.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including chemists, engineers, and cross-functional teams. May supervise junior researchers, students, or technicians.
  • Project Management: Assist in project planning, execution, and troubleshooting. Manage multiple tasks, adhere to timelines, and meet research objectives.
