Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and diligent administrative assistant to support our New York team. A successful candidate has earned their BA/BS, 1-2 years in a similar or related role; possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; and maintains a neat and professional appearance. Success in this position requires a positive, energetic attitude, and dedicated work ethic.
Administrative Assistant tasks will vary depending on the needs of the firm and the candidate’s own skills and aptitude, but day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
- Greet clients and accept packagesat reception
- Screen incoming calls and take messages
- Open, distribute, and file incomingmail
- Help serve as personal conciergeto the select partners
- Prepare correspondence and faxes
- Make reservations and travel arrangements
- Photocopy, scan, and print documents
- Troubleshoot office equipment problems
- Monitor kitchen and office inventory and make supplyorders
- Organize and clean work environment (kitchen, conference rooms,supply rooms)
- Perform other miscellaneous office tasks, errands,and special projectsas needed
