As a Quality Control Technician at BCFoods, you’ll learn hands-on how food products are tested, documented, and released for shipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with a science or food interest who wants to build a career in Quality Assurance or Food Safety.

Schedule: Full-time; day shift with occasional overtime (
Department: Quality / Food Safety
Reports to: QC Manager
What you’ll do
Perform hourly product line checks and record results
Verify that finished goods meet product specifications
Follow and support company food safety, GMP, and quality standards
Collect and label samples for laboratory testing
Conduct basic sensory evaluations and document findings
Operate simple lab equipment safely and accurately
Support pest-control inspections and housekeeping checks
Assist with customer sample requests and packaging
Participate in HACCP and safety meetings
Help with training and orientation for new employees
What you bring
Coursework, internship, or degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field — or strong interest in food manufacturing
Great attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Good communication and teamwork; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk during most of the shift (reasonable accommodations available)
Nice to have
Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, or basic food safety concepts
Experience with lab sampling or manufacturing equipment
Curiosity and willingness to learn new processes
