Learning and Development Intern
Title: Learning and Development Intern (Multiple semesters required)
Location(s): Houston, Texas (Near Katy, Texas) or Lake Jackson, Texas
Additional location may include McIntosh, Alabama
Salary: $23.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students
Focus: The Learning & Development Intern will support the design, development, and delivery of instructional content and learning programs to enhance employee development and training effectiveness.
Learning and Development Intern Essential Job Functions:
· Assist in creating instructional materials, adapting content for learners, and designing resources
· Support the development or training roadmaps, research, and help evaluating learning effectiveness
· Provide administrative support for the LMS platform and contribute to both routine and strategic learning and development initiatives
Learning and Development Intern Minimum Requirements:
· Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Human Resources Development, Instructional Design, Industrial/Organization Psychology or IT-related discipline degree program. Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned Olin location.
· Must be able to work continuously throughout the year (Can be part-time while taking classes)
· Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
· Must have completed sophomore year prior to first rotation with Olin
· Ability to work part-time (20 hours a week) during normal business hours if working while taking classes and within a reasonable commute of the site
· Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa
· A Valid US Driver's license is required
