Social Media Creator
We’re looking for a creator‑operator to launch, run, and grow TwoSommers’ TikTok and Instagram from zero to momentum. You’ll develop a content strategy, produce short‑form video, experiment to find repeatable formats, and grow a community around practical logistics + software stories. You’ll have full channel ownership—from ideas to analytics.
Launch & own channels: Stand up TikTok and Instagram accounts, set up bios/links, brand guidelines, and posting calendars.
- Create short‑form video: Script, shoot, edit, caption, and publish 3–5 posts/week using trend‑savvy hooks and strong storytelling.
- Growth experiments: Run A/B tests on hooks, thumbnails, lengths, and CTAs; build 2–3 repeatable series (e.g., “Logistics in 60s,” “Build in Public,” “Founder Office Hours”).
- Community management: Reply to comments/DMs, engage with relevant creators/hashtags, spark conversations, and escalate leads to the founders.
- Analytics & reporting: Track views, watch time, shares, saves, follower growth; present weekly insights and next tests.
- Light design & repurposing: Turn video into Reels, cutdowns, carousels, and story highlights; maintain a simple content library (Notion/Drive).
- Brand storytelling: Translate technical software/logistics topics into relatable, useful, and entertaining content.
-
Compliance basics: Use licensed audio, proper disclosures (#ad/#partner if applicable), and follow platform policies.
Minimum Qualifications - Active student or recent grad with a public portfolio: TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, or IG content you’ve made (personal or brand).
- Demonstrated video editing skills (CapCut, VN, or Adobe Premiere/Rush).
- Strong copywriting for hooks, captions, and on‑screen text.
- Comfortable on camera and/or directing others on camera.
- Basic analytics literacy (understanding of retention curves, hook rate, CTR, etc.).
- Organized, self‑directed, and excited to own outcomes end‑to‑end.
Preferred (Nice‑to‑Have) - Experience launching a new account and growing to 1–10k+ followers.
- Familiarity with B2B, logistics, or SaaS content.
- Basic design skills (Canva, Figma) and simple motion graphics.
- Social scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Hootsuite) and Notion/Sheets for tracking.
- Understanding of UGC best practices and creator collaboration etiquette.
What You’ll Learn / Resume‑Level Outcomes - Channel ownership: From zero → strategy → repeatable series → measurable growth.
- Data‑driven creative: How to iterate using retention, completion, and save/share rates.
- Founder exposure: Weekly interaction with decision‑makers; your ideas get shipped.
- Industry access: Create content with a top‑10 trucking partner’s real‑world context.
-
Portfolio: 30–50 shipped posts + growth dashboard you can showcase.
