Supply Chain Specialist
- First contact person for the Supply Chain Manager about all operational topics within the area of responsibility
- Builds strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Business Management, Finance, Customer Service, and Quality to ensure alignment on strategic and operational supply chain matters
- Contact person for customers regarding managing national and international shipments (Ex, warehouse, drop shipments) and general customer communication
- Manage stock within agreed minimum and maximum levels, taking expiry dates into account.
- Coordinates logistics activities across the supply chain network, including forwarders, warehouse locations, co-manufacturers, and internal stakeholders, to ensure timely and efficient execution
- Participate in continuous improvement activities as required
- Handle freight inquiries and coordinate with carriers and forwarders regarding loading and delivery dates, coverage, relationships, and onboarding (including setup documentation)
- Process customer orders and draft shipping documents in accordance with country-specific requirements, as well as national and international laws and regulations
- Manage stocks, stock levels, and ensure ERP Master Data is up to date
- Serves as a reference point within the team for operational best practices, independently solves standard cross-functional problems, identifies opportunities to improve and refine standard processes and procedures
- Manages stakeholder complaints, evaluates logistics-related cost drivers, and contributes to capacity planning for facilities and partners
- Supports the execution of strategic projects as defined by management, and other tasks deemed necessary by the business
