We're seeking a motivated Patient Operations Associate with a passion for the healthcare industry to join our high-growth startup. In this role, you'll provide essential support for Cadence’s day-to-day operations including program implementation, process improvement, project management, root cause analysis, gap analysis, and cross-functional team collaboration. You will become an expert in key processes that drive success of our product including revenue cycle operations, patient operations, and care delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with Manual Processes:
- Learn and execute manual processes to support various operations initiatives within the healthcare sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Actively contribute to identifying automation opportunities and process optimization efforts.
- Support New Implementation Activities:
- Assist in planning and executing program implementations, ensuring operational readiness in alignment with healthcare industry requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate a seamless implementation process, adhering to regulatory guidelines and best practices.
- Provide post-implementation support and collaborate with teams from various departments to contribute to ongoing optimization efforts within the healthcare startup environment.
- Process Mapping and Improvement:
- Lead process mapping and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document current processes and identify areas for enhancement.
- Propose and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency, quality, and compliance within the healthcare startup setting.
- Implement process measures to monitor and improve them.
- Support Data Modeling and Forecasting:
- Assist in data modeling activities to analyze historical data and predict future trends in our business.
- Collaborate with data team and cross-functional teams to develop forecasting models that inform strategic decision-making.
- Support efforts to leverage data-driven insights to drive business growth and operational excellence.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in investigations to understand the root cause of identified issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Document findings and work with team members from different departments to implement effective solutions.
- Support efforts to address root causes and drive continuous improvement within the healthcare operations domain.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in operations management and process improvement, with a strong track record of implementing efficiency-enhancing strategies.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry and a strong interest in contributing to its growth and innovation.
- Basic analytical skills with a willingness to learn and apply data analysis techniques within the healthcare context.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel; experience with healthcare-specific software is a plus.
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles
