Summary
Gain real world, hands-on experience supporting our sales department for the summer. Technology is a vital part of our business, and in this internship opportunity, you will help maintain, troubleshoot, and improve our Salesforce CRM platform through data focused projects to support our sales and marketing teams.
What are some potential projects?
- Data Quality & Integrity: Identify and merge duplicate records within Salesforce (contact, account, and opportunity levels) to improve accuracy and usability.
- Data Enrichment: Audit Salesforce data for missing or incomplete information and use a variety of online research tools to update and validate records.
- Process Automation: Assist in evaluating opportunities to streamline manual data entry through reports, validation rules, or basic automation tools within Salesforce.
- Analytics & Insights: Support the development of dashboards or reports that help leadership visualize key metrics, such as sales pipeline health, lead conversion rates, or customer engagement trends.
- Documentation & Best Practices: Help document data management standards and create easy-to-follow guides for users to support consistency across teams.
- Participate in other projects or tasks as assigned
What competencies can you expect to receive/improve?
- Hands-on experience managing data in Salesforce CRM
- A deeper understanding of sales and marketing operations in a corporate environment
- Exposure to data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting tools
- Insight into data governance, quality assurance, and system integration
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and IT
About You (Qualifications):
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field with an expected graduation date after August 2026
- Strong interest in sales operations, data management, or CRM systems
- Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets; exposure to Salesforce, Power BI, or similar data tools is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn from others
