My Mental Health University™ (MHU) is an mental heath Continuing Education Provider offering trauma-informed, culturally responsive continuing education trainings for mental-health professionals, educators, and community advocates.
Our growing ecosystem also includes the Premarital Counseling Directory™, a national platform connecting couples with qualified therapists, clergy, and relationship coaches.

Position Overview
We’re seeking a creative, organized, and strategic Marketing Strategy & Development Intern to help build the marketing and business foundations for both My Mental Health University™ and the Premarital Counseling Directory™.
This is a collaborative role, working directly with MHU staff, designers, and administrative support to strengthen our online presence, plan growth campaigns, and structure marketing systems for future scalability.
This position is ideal for students in marketing, business, entrepreneurship, communications, or psychology who want hands-on experience developing marketing strategies for a mission-driven mental health education brand.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with MHU staff and interns to develop a unified marketing strategy and implementation plan for both MHU and the Premarital Counseling Directory
- Conduct market and audience research to identify growth opportunities for online courses and professional directories
- Assist with designing launch and promotional campaigns for trainings, CE courses, and virtual summits
- Help build marketing outlines, calendars, and content workflows for blogs, newsletters, and social media
- Participate in weekly team meetings to brainstorm, plan, and track marketing progress
- Provide creative recommendations for email, partnership, and influencer outreach
- Track metrics using Facebook Insights, Pinterest Analytics, and Google Sheets for campaign reporting
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, teamwork, and creative problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of marketing fundamentals, project planning, or brand management
- Familiarity with Canva, Trello, and Google Workspace
- Comfortable collaborating in a remote environment
- Interest in mental health, continuing education, and small business growth strategy
