Marketing Intern

About the Role
The Heel is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team! This role offers hands-on experience across all areas of marketing—from social media and email campaigns to in-store promotions and brand visuals. You’ll support our marketing team in bringing fresh ideas to life, maintaining our brand presence, and ensuring our customers stay connected both online and in-store.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Campaign Support
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across email, social media, and in-store promotions.
- Conduct competitor and trend research to help shape campaign strategies.
- Support event planning and execution for promotions, launches, and in-store activations.
Social Media & Content Creation
- Create, schedule, and manage engaging content across The Heel and The Heel Outlet Store social channels (posts, stories, reels).
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure performance and growth.
- Capture photos of new shoe arrivals and send assets to the ecommerce team.
- Contribute creative ideas for social content, giveaways, and collaborations.
Brand Assets & Visuals
- Update and maintain marketing materials, including lookbooks, signage, and digital content libraries.
- Tag and organize Lookbook assets in Flipsnack.
- Support in-store branding by managing signage and brand logos.
Customer & Community Relations
- Monitor and respond to Google Reviews in a professional and brand-appropriate tone.
- Handle donation requests—review submissions, coordinate responses, and track follow-up.
Administrative & Team Support
- Assist with photoshoots, product styling, and seasonal content production.
- Help organize marketing files and ensure assets are up to date.
- Provide general administrative and project support as needed.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Skilled in leveraging social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) to create compelling, on-brand content that drives engagement and supports campaign objectives.
- A keen eye for detail and aesthetics—photography or design experience is a plus.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
