Job Title: YouTube Video Editor - Internship

Location: 

This is a remote position, but applicants must reside in the United States, preferably within Miami-Dade, Florida, USA for easier communication and project coordination. There will be instances where in-person meetings are necessary. 

Compensation: 

Starting at $15.00/hr for entry-level candidates; compensation based on experience and knowledge.

About Us:
This position is for Pewter Crunchy, a video sharing division and YouTube channel operated by Imagination Pixel LLC, a creative media startup based in Miami, FL. Our YouTube channel, Pewter Crunchy, explores gaming, Nintendo, Pokémon, and pop culture with humor, personality, and a community-driven tone. This is an independent contractor position, not an influencer role.

Position Overview:

As a YouTube Video Editor, you’ll play a key role in bringing gaming content to life — helping to shape videos that are entertaining, well-paced, and visually engaging. You’ll collaborate closely with the channel owner to refine the tone, humor, and rhythm of videos while maintaining the personality of Pewter Crunchy’s brand.

This role is hands-on, creative, and fast-paced, suited for someone who enjoys memes, gaming culture, and the energy of YouTube storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit YouTube videos using recorded gameplay, commentary, and provided assets.
• Maintain consistent tone, pacing, and humor aligned with the Pewter Crunchy brand.
• Incorporate subtitles, sound effects, memes, and pop culture references where appropriate.
• Manage multiple editing projects and deliver videos within established deadlines.
• Communicate regularly about progress, feedback, and revisions.
• Suggest creative ideas to improve the overall flow, engagement, and storytelling of videos.
• Keep up with current gaming and YouTube trends to ensure the channel stays relevant and dynamic.

• Ensure compliance with all social media platform rules to avoid mishandling accounts or adverse situations.

Essential Skills:

• Strong understanding of YouTube content, especially in the gaming and pop culture space.
• Proficiency in at least one editing platform (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut).
• Basic understanding of pacing, comedic timing, and storytelling structure.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with solid time management skills.
• Open to feedback and comfortable collaborating remotely.
• Reliable internet connection for uploading and reviewing video files.

Preferred but Not Required:

• Experience editing for YouTube or TikTok content creators.
• Familiarity with Nintendo or Pokémon content and fandom culture.
• Knowledge of thumbnail design or motion graphics.
• Experience with meme culture, YouTube humor, or reaction-style editing.
