Are you an analytical, curious, and motivated individual eager to dive into the data side of marketing within California’s thriving life science industry? Biocom California is looking for a Marketing Analytics Intern to join our statewide marketing team for a hands-on, fast-paced experience!
What You’ll Be Doing
Marketing Tracking & Analysis – Monitor and report on web, email, social media, and paid campaigns using Google Analytics (GA4), Pardot, and Hootsuite.
Dashboard Development – Build dashboards to visualize performance, trends, and marketing insights.
Engagement & Campaign Insights – Analyze data from events, communications, and digital channels to identify opportunities for improvement.
Data & Process Support – Ensure accuracy across CRM and marketing systems, assist with UTM tracking, and streamline reporting workflows.
Collaboration – Partner with the Regional Marketing Manager and team to share findings and recommend improvements.
Tracking & Paid Media – Support tracking and LinkedIn paid campaign reporting.
General Marketing Support – Help with data cleanup, message testing, and persona development.
What We are looking for
- Currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Data Analytics or a related field.
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A detail-oriented, highly organized multitasker who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Foundational understanding of marketing metrics and digital performance reporting.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Pardot, Hootsuite, and Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Google Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar)
- Understanding of UTM tracking (Urchin Tracking Module), LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) performance metrics.
- Collaborative, analytical, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Interest in biotechnology, life sciences, or membership-based organizations.
