Position Overview

As a Comprehensive Retirement Planning Specialist, you will provide education, guidance, and support to individuals and families preparing for retirement. You will be trained to use proprietary systems to help clients safeguard their financial future through holistic planning solutions for life, health, and wealth. This is a commission-based position that offers a structured pathway toward becoming a licensed and trusted professional within the insurance and financial planning industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to assess their goals, concerns, and retirement needs.
  • Explain various benefits, coverage, and investment options clearly and confidently.
  • Educate clients on potential risks and recommend tailored solutions using a portfolio of 200+ products.
  • Maintain detailed and compliant client records using our proprietary software system.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, reviewing and updating their plans as life changes occur.
  • Collaborate closely with back-office support and management teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions provided by American Senior Benefits and Integrity Marketing Group.
  • Engage in community outreach and recruitment initiatives to expand awareness of our mission and services.
     

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills; empathetic and client-centered approach.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn within a supportive team environment.
  • Must obtain or currently hold an Ohio Life and Health Insurance License (training and pre-licensing support provided).
  • Background check required for state licensing.
