IMET Undergraduate Summer Internship

IMET and the University System of Maryland are committed to creating opportunities for a diverse body of undergraduates to enable and encourage students form underrepresented backgrounds to continue on to higher degrees and careers in marine and environmental science. To promote this we are offering an in-person nine-week paid research summer undergraduate internship.

Eligibility: 

  • US citizen or permanent resident
  • Undergraduate student 
  • GPA of 3.0 or above

Internship Dates: June 8 - August 7, 2026
