Videographer/Photographer

Job Summary:

The Corporate Videographer/Photographer is responsible for planning, producing, and delivering high-quality video and photo content to support a large electric utility's mission, brand, and strategic objectives. This role works closely with internal departments, leadership, and external partners to visually communicate company initiatives, employee engagement, community involvement, safety programs, and customer information.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart) as exemplified in the book of the same name by Patrick Lencioni.  
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in communications, multimedia production, film, photography, or related field is required.
  • Must have three (3) to five (5) years of professional videography/photography experience, preferably in a corporate, agency, news, or utility/industrial setting.
  • Must have proven experience in both videography and photography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical skills.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator).
  • Must have strong technical knowledge of cameras, lighting, audio, and video editing workflows.
  • Must have strong storytelling, visual composition, and editing skills. Must be able to tell compelling visual stories that align with the Cooperative’s messaging.
  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills and be comfortable with interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
  • Must be willing to travel within the company’s service territory and occasionally work evenings/weekends as required.
  • Drone certification (FAA Part 107) is preferred but not necessary.
