Under the general supervision of the Accounting Administrator I, Supervisor, this position will perform research and analysis on various accounting functions in the Reports & Reconciliation Unit.  Duties and assignments require contact with CALPIA managers and field staff in the resolution of accounting duties.

  • Financial accounting work experience
  • Financial Audit and Year-End experience
  • Lead and/or Training
  • Accounting work experience / Accounting work experience in the State/Government
  • Work experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Degree with emphasis in Accounting or Fiscal
  • Experience in analyzing data and preparing financial reports
  • General ledger experience
  • Fiscal Year-End financial statements (Budgetary/Legal Basis & GAAP)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience delivering training
  • Content, facilitating meetings or presenting information
  • Experience developing and updating desk procedures, ISOs, and various types of learning materials
  • Customer Service experience
