Farm Internship
We are looking for interns for the 2026 growing season! If you are interested in learning how to grow vegetables organically, cut flowers and run an agritourism-based farm, please consider joining our team. We are female owned and encourage other women to apply. You will need a strong work ethic and willingness to learn in order to be successful here.
Jobs on the farm may include but are not limited to:
- planting, harvesting, and post harvest handling of vegetables and flowers
- field management (weeding, fertilizing, etc)
- agritourism (farm to table dinners, you pick flowers, farm tours)
We try to be as flexible as possible with our intern's hours and strive to work with your schedule. Appalachian State University students are typically able to recieve school credit for this internship. We work closely with the Sustainable Development Department.
We share lunch everyday from 12-1pm, and try to incorporate a healthy lifestyle on the farm that includes optional yoga classes in the pavilion and shared meals. We believe that being in nature is the greatest healer of all … and we have plenty of farm dogs to love on!
