BGPL USA inc.
BGPL USA Inc., founded in 2010 in Miami, Florida, is the exclusive U.S. importer and distributor for the portfolio of wines from its parent company, Barton & Guestier France (B&G France), part of the renowned Castel Group. Our portfolio includes prestigious wine houses and brands such as Barton & Guestier, Veuve du Vernay, Patriarche, Listel and Champagne Malard. Our mission is to grow these iconic French brands in the U.S. market by expanding distribution, strengthening distributor relationships, and delivering well-executed marketing strategies.
INTERNSHIP SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to support our Marketing team in executing impactful campaigns, events, and digital initiatives that promote our brands and engage our audience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing & Digital
- Assist with the development and management of marketing tools and sales materials (presentations, product sheets, brochures, etc.)
- Assist in organizing and coordinating events such as trade shows, wine tastings, wine dinners, and trainings
- Create Social Media content and update online material for our distributors
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand and fulfill their content and marketing asset needs
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify relevant trends
- Support the maintenance and update of a comprehensive internal database ensuring effective sources of information for sales team (SharePoint).
Additionally
- Coordinate and process POS/product samples requests
- Update the POS inventory
- Support brand activations and promotional activities
REQUIREMENT
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum two years of studies in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Specialization in Wine & Spirits business management or similar commercial discipline preferred.
- Strong analytical and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Passion for the wine industry.
- Solid knowledge of social media platforms and experience in creating engaging content (posts, visuals, stories, etc.).
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- French language skills a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to travel and work some weekends, and some holidays.
- Always available during work hours, and not afraid to work the extra mile to make sure all deadlines are respected.
- Autonomous and not afraid to take initiatives.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for a prolonged period.
- Must be physically able to lift and carry cases of wine and promotional materials. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Occasionally bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, or climb.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery employing repetitive arm and wrist motions, such as a computer and phone. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.
- Specific vision abilities require close and distance vision.
INTERNSHIP BASICS
- Location: in person – 12550 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami, FL.
- Employment Type: Internship
- Duration: 6 months to 1 year. Minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Stipend: $15.00 per hour.
- Reports to: Marketing & Digital specialist.
