Marketing Assistant

Blackney Hayes is an architecture and interior design firm based in Philadelphia. We are looking for a motivated, creative, and detailed-oriented individual to help grow our Marketing Team. This position supports the efforts of our Marketing Director.  The ideal candidate will have experience in Adobe Creative Suite, building social media content, great writing/ proofreading skills, and a background in the A/E/C industry. 

 

We’ll count on you to:

  • Monitor and track online RFP/ RFQ opportunities
  • Work with the Marketing Team and Principals to prepare proposal materials, including qualifications, proposals, brochures, presentations, newsletters, award submissions, and news articles 
  • Coordinate and prepare promotional materials using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat
  • Assist with creating social media content
  • Conduct market research and gather information on potential clients
  • Handle multiple, sometimes competing, priorities at once
  • Perform other duties as needed

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor/ Associate degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of marketing experience (strong preference for experience in the A/E/C industry)
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (with an emphasis on InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong writing ability and proof-reading skills
  • Ability to collaborate with different personalities and professional styles while still communicating professionally
