Agronomy Sales Internship
Primary objective for the Agronomy Sales Internship will be to assist agronomists in the sales of agronomy products and services. Agronomy Sales intern will work with the other members of the agronomy team to meet operational goals.
Role and Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee test plots, including working with seed reps to provide seed, plot maintenance, plot tours/events.
- Create maps/blend tickets during application season.
- Deliver products to customers.
- Learn about and help with the sales of agronomy products and services.
- Perform field scouting and soil testing.
- Interact professionally with customers and team members.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an Agronomy, Crop Science, Agribusiness or related program.
- Strong interest in agronomy, crop production and agricultural retail.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment and lift up to 50lbs.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid Driver's License.
