Job Details
Part customer service and part consultive selling, the Inside Sales Representative position is a REACTIVE sales position that entails working with existing and new customers via phone and email communication to process repeat orders, or consult customers based on their quote requests. Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative will work side by side with the CodeSource production and manufacturing team to ensure customer orders are completed correctly and delivered in a timely manner, meeting customer expectations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Issue formal price quotations in response to customer requests on a day to day basis
- Prepare and submit sales orders to CodeSource Office Manager based on received purchase orders
- Evaluate customer project requirements and promote specific products or services based on their application needs
- Review and analyze customer designs or technical engineering documents for build to print quoting
- Maintain customer records, using automated systems and databases
Applicable Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities related to the position
- Detail Oriented- Must be capable of reviewing large amounts of information and ensuring its accuracy to customer request
- Negotiation- Must be capable of negotiating terms of sales, such as pricing or delivery time frames with customers
- Multi-Tasking- The ability to shuffle between multiple tasks and projects throughout the day, while also being responsive to new customer inquiries
- Mathematics- Knowledge of basic math to determining costs, prices, and profit margins throughout quoting and ordering processes.
- Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
