Position:           Formulation Technician I 

Location:         Sunnyvale, CA, 94085 

Duration:         12 Months  

Job Type:         Temporary Assignment  

Work Type:    Onsite 

Shift:               Monday to Friday from 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM

Summary:
Work in a team-based manufacturing lab environment within the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) in Sunnyvale, CA. Responsible for synthesizing and testing ion exchange media used in chromatography consumables.

Responsibilities:

  • Test resin products on specialized instruments to meet customer demand.
  • Record and report test results accurately and maintain proper documentation.
  • Complete production work orders according to established procedures.
  • Follow corporate quality policies to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Follow safety requirements and actively participate in safety improvement activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of college chemistry with 1 year of chemical laboratory experience, or 1–2 years of related laboratory experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in preparing chemical solutions, standards, and using common laboratory equipment.
  • Interaction and communication with Production Lead and Production Manager to take daily assignments and report production information.
  • Collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering to improve product quality and throughput.
  • Ability to build stable working relationships internally.
