Project Manager/QA Intern

Sun-Net Inc. provides software solutions to the electric utility industry. Our enterprise software is built using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript frontend with J2EE backend using Oracle and SQL Server database.

We are offering internship position for a Project Manager/Software Test Engineer. Job responsibilities will include:

1.        Understanding Product functionality, user requirements.

2.       Creating project plans/schedules

3.        Following up with Developers and Customers depending on what is needed to complete sprints/user stories.

3.        Manually execute test scenarios according to user stories and document results

4.        Produce and prioritize bug reports

5.        Reproduce bugs and write clear steps to reproduce

6.        Run manual testing and support automated testing

7.         Identify issues and work with the team members to figure out solutions

8.        Provide daily reports to customers regarding status.

Skills that will be needed to make this a successful internship:

Technical Skills

·          Solid foundation in information systems/db or computer science.

·          Any experience with Selenium

·          Experience with JIRA

·          Experience with Agile framework

·          Experience with SQL

Desired Skills

·          Ability to organize work efficiently and understand when to escalate

·          Take initiative in researching and understanding new/unknown concepts

·          Document test approaches and results.

·          Communicate and Coordinate with various team members frequently and relentless to achieve objectives

·          Ability to handle multiple tasks while adapting to changing priorities

·          Ability to work with minimum supervision

·          Ability to think out of the box and meet deadlines

·          Excellent organizational skills
