Role Overview
Purpose of Job
You will administer a client portfolio, under the supervision of a Senior Administrator and line Manager, providing accounting for our fund clients including Venture Capital, Private Equity, Fund-of-Funds, and Family Offices. You will translate knowledge learned from one client to another while providing fund administration, financial reporting, back-office solutions, and investor relations services to these firms. You will demonstrate a clear understanding of the client's portfolio, including risk awareness, relationship management, and contractual and statutory obligations.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare accounting entries for investments and assist with fair value calculations.
- Post journal entries and portfolio transactions in accounting software.
- Assist with month-end and quarter end closing procedures.
- Prepare capital call and distribution notices.
- Reconcile cash transactions in client bank accounts.
- Generate and maintain accurate filing of accounting documents and electronic records.
- Prepare and review US GAAP financial statements and partner capital statements.
- Manage client open items and create agendas for meetings with client to communicate needs.
- Assists external auditors during year-end audits.
- Provide support for the accounting team.
- Interacts with clients on day-to-day matters as well as on ad-hoc queries.
- Participates in regular technology and information reviews, identifies potential. changes and enhancements, and recommends alternatives for implementation.

- Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
Essential Requirements
- College degree (accounting business, mathematics, or finance degrees preferred by not essential). Masters degree or CPA license is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that demonstrate professionalism.
- Proactive team player with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven organizational and problem-solving abilities, as well as meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office. Strong Excel expertise.
- Able to translate and apply knowledge learned across clients and have excellent memory recall.
