Role: Three Internship vacancies; 1x Client Group Intern, 1x Investment Intern, 1x Capital (Private Equity) Intern  

Location: New York, USA (Relocation assistance is provided if you reside outside the Metro New York area)  

Salary: $32 p/h  

Start Date: 8th June 2026 

End Date: 7th August 2026 

 

 

What is the Client Group Internship? 

  

Schroders Client Group ensures that everything we do, as an organisation, starts with our clients. By bringing together expertise in product strategy, marketing, and sales activation, the team creates solutions that meet diverse client needs—from pension funds and insurers to family offices and sovereign wealth funds. Our role is to understand client priorities, develop innovative offerings, and deliver them with excellence through deep relationships and strong market insight. This Program will provide you with a unique introduction to the asset management industry and how Client Group operates within it. 

Throughout the program you will:

  • Be assigned to a team where you will contribute to live projects and gain meaningful hands-on experience
  • Shadow experienced professionals and learn directly from leaders in the field
  • Have opportunities to network with colleagues and other interns, helping you build connections for your future career

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in financial markets, a commercial mindset, and the ability to build strong relationships with both colleagues and clients. You should be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable communicating with a variety of stakeholders, including senior professionals and external clients.   • Shows genuine interest in asset management and current market trends, with the ability to discuss the impact of economic events on investments and form well-reasoned opinions on commercial or financial matters.

  • You must be in your Junior year and graduating in 2027. Unfortunately, we no longer accept applications from Seniors considering further studies (i.e Masters) upon completion of undergraduate course.
  •  A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Schroders Capital is our private markers division, managing close to to $100 billion in assets across Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt & Credit Alternatives, and Infrastructure. Positioned at the heart of global trends like AI, new consumption patterns, and decarbonisation, the team focuses on driving positive change through carefully selected investments. With more than 400 professionals in 25 cities, we deliver tailored portfolio solutions that balance financial performance with sustainable outcomes. This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders.

What is the Investment Internship? 

 

Schroders’ public markets team serves institutional clients—such as pension funds, insurance companies, and sovereign wealth funds—as well as intermediaries like financial advisers, private wealth managers, and online platforms.
