We are currently hiring for Case Manager/Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) for several of our residential areas.

Position Overview

As a Case Manager/QIDP, you will oversee the needs of the resident's programs, goals and community outings amongst many other facets of daily life. QIDPs work closely with a team of professionals to ensure quality care and programming for our residents. As a Case Manager/QIDP at Misericordia you will have the opportunity to create programs to nurture the growth of our residents- physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The QIDP creates programs where the resident's individual goals and desires are worked on in combination with skills that are need to achieve greater independence as identified by the interdisciplinary team.

  • Ability to manage time and resources while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate reliability, flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to work variety of shifts/hours and supervise as required

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required– preferably in human services or another related field including but not limited to Psychology, Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: QIDP must have a minimum of 1 year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities

HOURS: Full-time, ability to be flexible regarding work schedule, including working evenings and weekends

PAY STRUCTURE: 

  • $25.50 an hour base
  • PM shift differential - $1.50 an hour, Monday - Friday
  • Weekend differential - $6 an hour
