Position Summary:
MarshBerry is seeking an Intern for our Compliance Team in our Beachwood, OH office. Their primary responsibilities will include assisting with creating and reviewing compliance reporting, helping to document record retention and destruction activities, and updating and organizing various disclosure, policy, and procedure documents. This Intern will also assist with project management for new compliance initiatives. The Intern will have the opportunity to work with the Compliance and Investment Banking and Consulting (IBC) team and learn about MarshBerry products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and reviewing Compliance reporting for the business.
- Help with documentation of record retention and record destruction activities.
- Assist with project management of new compliance initiatives.
- Maintain and organize various disclosure, policy, and procedure documents.
- Assist with the creation of MarshBerry Capital Compliance trainings.
- Additional projects and tasks as assigned.
- Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with potential internal/external clients, partners and stakeholders that can directly or indirectly lead to revenue generation for all MarshBerry services.
Selection Criteria
Education & Experience:
- Candidates that have completed or are pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
- Recent graduates enrolled in graduate program or current college students at the junior and senior level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other software programs.
Other:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
- A customer service mindset.
