Marketing Intern
Parlo is looking for creative, social-media-savvy college students to join our team as Marketing Interns (Content Creators).
This is a flexible, remote, paid opportunity for Gen-Z creators who love TikTok, Instagram Reels, and the world of digital storytelling.
At Parlo, we’re building a voice-first journaling app that turns daily reflection into a shared experience. Every day, users respond to one short prompt. Only after answering can they see what others said. We’re creating a space that’s real, aesthetic, and emotionally honest — no filters, no performance, just expression. The app is built on reflection, and has both a social and private component to it.
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll help grow Parlo’s social presence by creating short-form content that embodies the brand’s tone and message. This role is perfect for someone who already loves making videos and wants real experience working with a tech startup. The goal of this position is getting eyes on the brand and raising social awareness for the app.
You will
Create 3–5 short-form videos per week (TikTok & Reels)
Capture aesthetic, relatable, or story-driven moments that align with Parlo’s theme of reflection and authenticity
Use trending sounds, effects, and formats to boost visibility and engagement
Occasionally appear on camera (optional, but encouraged)
Collaborate with the founder on weekly creative ideas and campaigns
Track engagement and performance of your content
You have
Strong familiarity with TikTok and Instagram culture
Creative eye for trends, pacing, and storytelling
Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Reels, TikTok editor, etc.)
Comfortable filming yourself or directing aesthetic footage
Excellent communication and time-management skills
Passion for journaling, wellness, creativity, or storytelling
Currently enrolled as a college student (preferred)
Pay: $10 per video (paid monthly). Available bonus for viral or ultra engaging content.
