The Marketing Project Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the customer’s voice is accurately represented and permeates throughout all external facing projects and campaigns. This individual ensures that projects lead with SouthWest Transit’s brand voice and collaborates effectively throughout the agency. This position works collaboratively across departments, bringing all stakeholders together toward an aligned goal.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to develop project plans, goals, and timelines that align with agency goals and objectives.
- Manage, oversee, and coordinate projects from conception through execution and measurement of success.
- Represent the customer when managing projects. Review surveys, feedback, and customer insights to ensure the customer’s voice leads the project goals.
- Use widely accessible tools and resources to develop project plans to effectively communicate with key stakeholders.
- Communicate project requirements and maintain accurate and up to date records of project status, project changes, and other project milestones.
- Identify potential project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize impact to budget and deadlines.
- Act as a liaison between departments throughout the agency. Responsible for effective and transparent communication of progress.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with company objectives and priorities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on projects specific to their department (i.e., vehicle graphics for operations, advertising for human resources, etc.)
- Partner with Marketing Manager for Marketing and Communications needs throughout the agency, including but not limited to design, content creation, social media, press releases, proofing, editing, etc.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, project management or a related field
- 3+ years’ experience in B2B & B2C marketing
- 3+ years’ experience in Project Management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to collaborate with customers and team members
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:
- Project Management Certification
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Work is indoors in a normal office environment. Occasional lifting of thirty pounds or less is required. Requires a high attention to detail or deadlines between 45% and 70% of the time. A typical workday involves about 85% of the time spent sitting and about 50% or more of the time using a keyboard. However, this varies depending on the season. A significant amount of time is spent handling paper and maintaining files.
