Professional Lawn Care & Irrigation Management Internship

Program Overview:

Many colleges & universities require an internship that complements the classromm learning. At Thrive/Teed & Brown, LLC in Bethel, CT, our High-End Lawn Care & Irrigation Business is looking for interns. Whether the student is majoring in Turfgrass Science, Agriculture, Agronomy, AgriBusiness Management, Business Management, Leadership, Business Administration. Our internship is designed to bridge the academic theory with real-world experience. We offer hand-on exposure to the operations, leadership & science behind a premium lawn care & irrigation business.

Program Focus & Learning Objectives:

Field Training: 

     Operate professional equipment, vehicles & mobile applications used in daily service operations.

Leadership & Team Management:

     Shadow Lawn Care Managers to learn scheduling, route planning, quality control, & customer communication

Irrigation Systems:

     Work along side our irrigation install & service teams to learn about irrigation systems, installations, servicing & reapirs

Busness & Administration:

     Spend time with office & operations suppor teams to learn about customer support, billing, & logistics

Seasonal Operations:

     depending on your duration of internship, you may very well participate in one or a few of the most important services we offer, i.e. Summer Check-Up Visits, Lawn Care & Irrigation Manager Vists & Spring/Fall Aeration & Overseeding

Program Timeline:

     We break up the internship in seasonal services so you can gain hand-on understanding of what we do

     Spring, Summer, Fall: each service during tese times are required to be completed in a specific amount of time as the seasons do affect what and how we accomplish our seervices.
