Spring 2026 Social Media/ Marketing/ Communications Internship
Fast-growing gender-expansive fashion brand based in New York City is looking for an intern to take charge of a wide range of marketing, communications, social media, as well as administrative initiatives, gain valuable practical experience, and have the potential to grow into a full-time position depending on the company's development.
This internship must be taken as a for-credit course.
Scope of Work / Responsibilities
Social Media & Content
- Produce and edit social media content (filming, editing, and publishing).
- Conduct research and develop social media strategy aligned with brand objectives.
- Plan and manage the monthly social media calendar.
- Coordinate collaborations with influencers, photographers, and other creative partners.
- Research and conduct outreach to key influencers relevant to the brand.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with influencers and creative collaborators.
Press & Marketing
- Draft press materials, brand stories, and other copywriting needs.
- Create marketing assets, including lookbooks, linesheets, and newsletters.
- Research and conduct outreach to media contacts at both national and international levels.
Fashion Week & Events
- Support Fashion Week initiatives, including preparation, coordination, and execution.
- Assist with photoshoots and styling for brand campaigns or editorials.
- Provide event assistance for fashion week, pop-ups, and other brand activations.
Sample & Retail Management
- Manage and track samples for editorial photoshoots and influencer pulls.
- Handle shipping and receiving of samples and merchandise.
- Support retail and e-commerce management tasks, ensuring smooth operational flow.
Qualifications
- Current student in relative fields preferred (fashion marketing, communications, photography, graphic design, and etc.)
- Must be able to commute to New York City for work
- Detail-oriented
- Superb writing and verbal communication skills
- Social media savvy
- Strong time-management skills
- Can work independently but also not afraid to ask questions
- Must be committed to at least two fully days of work pre-week
