Join a friendly, experienced mixed-animal team in North Central Kansas as a Mixed-Animal Associate Veterinarian. Our practice is evenly split between cow/calf and companion animal/equine care, and this position will focus primarily on cow/calf and backgrounder work while still providing opportunities to see a wide variety of species.

We’re seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about herd health, cow/calf production, and lifelong learning. Candidates with at least one year of experience are preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply. About the Hospital
We are a mid-level referral hospital due to our orthopedic and soft tissue surgery capabilities, as well as our excellent facilities and resources that allow us to provide more intense care for both large and small animal patients. We see patients from all over the state of Kansas, as well as clients traveling from Nebraska. For our Large Animals, we offer an indoor Silencer Tilt Chute with scales for bovine foot work, outdoor Silencer chute with scales Portable Silencer chute with scales Calf chute, tub and alleyway OB chute for dystocias, DA’s, prolapses, exploratories, Neonatal Isolation Unit with six enclosures, two sets of sorting pens, tubs, and alleys, extensive array of Large Animal Instrumentation, Ibex Ultrasound Unit with goggle option, Equine stocks, Powerfloat Dental equipment, Portable X-ray & Ultrasound for lameness, AI instrumentation & accessories, and Nitrogen tanks for AI. For small animals, we offer five exam rooms, a dedicated euthanasia/comfort room, two surgical suites with two tables & anesthesia machines each, extensive Ortho & Soft Tissue Instrumentation, 2 Dental units (New Midmark and a SonMate), two treatment areas with a total of 3 wet tables & one foldable wall table, New VetRay digital radiology (stationary and portable), two ultrasound units (1 portable, 1 laptop), Endoscopy (can also be used for equine work), IDEXX ProCyte One, Catalyst One, and SediVue Dx Full pharmacy Hills Science Diet Inventory, a Hospitalization Ward, Isolation, and more.
