Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant Intern to join our remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced technology environment. The intern will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations and special projects, contributing to a positive and engaging remote company culture.
Key responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist with the full recruitment life cycle, including posting job openings on various platforms and screening resumes.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Prepare new hire paperwork and assist with the virtual onboarding process to ensure a seamless and positive experience.

Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update confidential employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Perform data entry to ensure all employee information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in drafting and formatting HR documents, such as internal communications, policies, and training materials.

Employee Engagement:
- Help organize and coordinate virtual team-building activities, events, and other employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist in creating and distributing employee feedback surveys.

HR Projects:
- Support HR staff with special projects related to talent management, compensation research, or training and development.
- Conduct research on HR best practices, industry benchmarks, and compliance regulations relevant to a remote cybersecurity workforce.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A high degree of curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
