Bessie’s Burgers and More is the newest venture in the Bessie’s brand family, expanding from our successful food truck, Bessie’s Bites and Sweet Delights and our mobile bakery Bessie’s Sweet Delights. We’re serving up mouthwatering burgers, loaded fries, and comfort classics — all made fresh and full of flavor. Our mission is to bring people together through great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Position Overview

We’re seeking motivated Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that meet Bessie’s standards every time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and served promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking station.
  • Assist with restocking, inventory, and rotating supplies.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with the prep team and front of house.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and consistency.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Safe Serve Certification required (or willingness to obtain before November 13, 2025).
