AG INTERN
DEPARTMENT: Ag Lending
REPORTS TO: Ag Loan Officer
EVALUATED BY: Ag Loan Officer
JOB SUMMARY: Portray excellent communication skills and computer skills. Understand profit and loss statements, financial statements, income tax returns, and basic accounting. The opportunity to be involved in the application process from origination of the application to the closing of an agricultural loan, including documentation associated therewith will exist. Will approach Ag Loan Officer for additional work responsibilities when time is available. This position will have limited customer contact. This position will require approximately 15 hours per week.
DUTIES:
1. Gather, enter, and analyze agricultural information through the use of Moody's Analytics Software.
2. Handle confidential records for the department.
3. Check accuracy of work.
4. Compile and file all documentation used for input into Moody's Analytics.
5. Perform any and all other office duties as requested by supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PRIVACY AND SAFEKEEPING OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION: Customer financial information will not be accessed unless this access is necessary in the performance of assigned duties. Viewing customer deposit information or credit files to satisfy a personal curiosity is strictly prohibited. Confidential information acquired is considered to be extremely sensitive by our customers. This information must not be revealed to unauthorized persons. This information should not be discussed with others within the bank unless their duties also require the information. Customer financial information can be released only when authorized by the customer or when subpoenaed by a court or the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Then the information released must be accurate and within the confines of the authorizing document.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR COMPLIANCE: The employee agrees to comply with all Mound City Bank policies and procedures including federal and state rules and regulations.
ORGANIZATION: Utilize excellent organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills in all bank related matters.
RELATIONSHIPS: Directly responsible to Ag Loan Officer for the fulfillment of functions, responsibilities, and authority, and for their proper interpretation.
