About The Role
Site Analysis Intern is a great opportunity for anyone interested in gaining entry-level experience in clean energy development. The Site Analysis Intern will perform initial desktop analyses on potential project sites in at least two of MSP’s target states and support the MSP team with outreach to municipalities who own viable sites. The Site Analysis Intern will be trained on industry-leading solar siting software, utilize the software to identify viable sites for development of municipally owned solar, and help to compile viable sites in preparation for outreach to municipalities. The Site Analysis Intern is a part-time, temporary role.
Job Responsibilities
The Site Analysis Intern will work alongside the MSP team to:
- Utilize Paces siting software to analyze potential sites
- Organize lists of viable sites within Paces and other databases
- Support the MSP team in the implementation of municipal outreach
The ideal candidate will have most or all of the following:
- Strong skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Self-motivation and a high level of attention to detail
- A demonstrated interest in the clean energy sector and publicly-owned power
- Experience using Customer Relation Manager (CRM) or similar software is a plus
